My first ever vocal lessons with Tino Live Music~

Okay this is a super late post, LOL!
I'm so sorry~ Have been very busy lately (>w<)
Nah. A photo of my face~
 *Acts cute*
ごめんなさい!!!
m(_ _)m

Okay so....
I think people thought that I had vocal lessons before... thus my "that kind" of vocal, but nah~
I have been using only my ears to observe by listening from artists whose voice catches my attention.
So yup! I've been to Tino Live Music~ ♪ ♡
Actually I have no idea why I chose to go there and take up vocal lessons ┐( ̄ヮ ̄)┌ ahahahaha~
The night before that first day of lesson I was quite nervous and also excited!!
O(≧∇≦)O
Thinking about being able to sing awesomely, LOL.
What's assuring is that it turns out to be better than I thought.
My sister. Evalee and me at Tino Live Music!!
& that guy beside me is Jeremy, lol!
He doesn't like us to call him teacher or adding a 'teacher' behind his name...
but shuai ge, dude or bro should be acceptable la HAHAHA
Okay joking~ //shot.

Yea, this guy is awesome.
Anyway, if you still don't know.
I am always shy with new people...so when I'm shy, I don't really talk much.
Don't need to talk about singing, I will keep in and it's hard for me to let it out... because I'm too shy to sing in front of strangers
ヽ(`Д´)ノ (д´ノ) ヽ( )ノ (ヽ´△) ヽ(´△`)ノ
So this guy. Jeremy not just introduced himself and shared with us about his past experiences, but he also took the initiative to know more about us personally.
What's best is that he didn't really asked much question regarding our vocals, he just knew it like... immediately after we sang.
LOL. Omg he knows that I was nervous too, HAHA!!
Yea, he told me that the first important thing is to keep calm.
Breath in & out slowly, LOL I seriously needed that.

Anyways... I still have this creeps of attending sit-down type of lesson.
After my Diploma in Nursing, I actually told myself that I'm not going to continue for further studies.
I think I might have phobia.
Those nursing days was like a nightmare to me. (I'm sorry but it's the truth from my heart)
I thought I will have a hard time trying to be happy during the lessons, but surprisingly these sit-down lessons were addictive~
8D
I didn't know time flew that fast.
Before I knew it, it's the end of the lessons (ᗒᗣᗕ)՞

I think I like it when a teacher is a funny / random or a bo liao person, HAHAHA
Ukulele (♥ω♥ ) ~♪

Us trying it out ^ So yea~
Jeremy is awesome, LOL seriously he makes me feel comfortable and kind of closer to him so I can comfortably sing it out loud.
Sometimes a joker he is.
Instead of a student & teacher kind of learning environment, it became machiam like a sharing session between friends, LOL!!!
From these few lessons I learnt loads of stuff~
Like, how to warm up the proper way with different methods.
It really helps my pronunciation too (´⌣`ʃƪ)
During lesson~
♪♪(o*゜∇゜)o~♪♪

Diaphragm usage!
Sometimes just being aware of your diaphragm can't really do much changes.
I like how Jeremy explained the levels, like.... there's even something call the head tone.
LOL, the first thing in my mind was like omg what the hell is that? lolololol
Very patient with us, he explained the details and demonstrated ways to warm up and work our diaphragm~

I used to think that breathing is just to make sure that I have air to continue singing.
Partially that was correct, but I had also experienced times where I breathed too much air.
I felt like I'm about to burst but can't because I am to sing the next line.
My lungs were kind of force to let out the air during the next line and I found myself to be suffocating while singing the following line....so from Jeremy I learnt that there such thing as breathing techniques, lol!

I have to learn how to control the amount of air use while I'm singing!
I realized that I have trouble breathing in fast songs and I love to go flat in slow songs, LOL.
Right. Flat meaning the tune LOLOL!
Honestly speaking, I have heard people going out of tune or went flat...especially during a performance. (omg, sibeh malu sia) lol during the lessons, I also have times when I went off tune or went flat LOL!!
 |_・) *hides*

Those few times while we are trying out, Jeremy patiently kept reminding us to keep the impression of the song or tune so that it will be repeating in our mind. (>_<)
Also the importance of listening to ourselves which I feel it really helps a lot because I can keep myself from falling off tune or going flat.
♬♪♫ ヾ(*・。・)ノ ♬♪♫

From there I also learnt about the 4 different ways to practice tuning and also stuff like adding on to the ups & downs to the tune. In Chinese, they call it 重音/轻音, English meaning emphasis on or less emphasis on to add or minus the feeling and emotion in a song. (It's okay if you don't understand, because I'm not a vocal teacher, duh. LOL)
ヽ(´Д`)人(´Д`)人(´Д`)ノ

During the last lesson, we were given a small test (omg) to see how much we have grown.
LOL omg I was seriously nervous GAHHH but still trying to keep my cool HAHAHA
I like how Jeremy is so sincerely honest when pointing out our mistakes and teaching us on how we can improve ^^

I am the Power House type, LOL!
I'm happy to learn about that and will challenge myself more 8D
(*´∀`)ノ☊ฺ ▂ฺ ▃ฺ ▄ฺ ▅ฺ ▆ฺ ▇ฺ █

Well~ it's just 4 lessons but my sister & I really learnt a lot!
Having to be able to understand more about our own vocal and what we can do more~
I will continue practicing!
Pushing further and surpass myself!!

I feel that this is really an awesome place (don't know 'bout other places as it's my first vocal lesson :3) to learn singing (I think they have other courses too) especially for people who are serious about it (Even if not serious, it's all 'bout having fun~ hahahaha)

It's not stressful, in fact I really enjoyed a lot during lesson.
