Hi Hi Hi Hi~
I'm back!!!
So this is my second entry on my parkour journey!!...
(Or my third. If you have read my first entry, lol!)
I have been quite busy lately, but managed to signed up for a Wednesday class on Tuesday night, ahahahaha~ ┐( ̄ヮ ̄)┌
So yea, do not forget to sign up before you come for class~
*Warming Up*
Apparently a skater has been photo bombing our photos while we are doing our warm ups.
v(〇_o)v
There he is!
In green tee-shirt! ∑(O_O;)
In green tee-shirt! ∑(O_O;)
~(。_°)ノ & again, LOL.
After we finished running around, doing our neck warm ups...
Here he comes~ lolol~
Must be an expert photo bomber. (ー_ー )
Continue our shoulder and arms warm ups~
..........
lols.
Actually they were looking at the camera...
but I can't help it, ahahahahahahaha!
Elbows, wrists and hip Isolations~
Hip, thighs and knees warm ups~
Warm ups are definitely very important.
As a dancer, warm ups somehow increases my reflexes.
Stretching increases my flexibility and endurance for certain moves.
Say Hi to the camera~!!
.......
LOL.
Alex is so gonna kill me, lolololol~
Last part of warm ups; ankle rotations!
When I started dancing, I don't really do warm ups...otherwise on and off.
Probably this was why I had sprained my left ankle 4 times and right ankle 3 times, which leads to loose or unstable ankles.
If I jump or do anything using my ankles without setting tension to my ankles' muscles, I can feel my ankles' joints slipping out and in......or sometimes they don't go back in.
For that, I have to see a doctor to push it back. 눈_눈
For people who have been with me for quite some time knows that I can even sprain my ankle while walking...
So yea, that's shitty. 凸(ಥ⌣ಥ╬)
Okayyy~ So after warm ups, change of location!
//& here's the drill~
All lined up for our conditioning workouts.
Attention to the coach while he demonstrates for those who have yet to know.
.........
I was still deciding whether I should post this photo up and then Keann was like: "do it! do it!", LOL.
Forgive me Alex, but everyone seems to be enjoying it, lololololol!!
One of the drills; quadrupedal movement.
We might look stupid crawling on the floor but it's totally worth doing it.
It's a technique for stable movement, on any surface that you don't feel stable on two legs. Also; full body conditioning, for arms, legs and quads core.
For ladies, I think I should share this.
After that day of drills, my ass and back of my thighs' muscles ache like crazy.
It's totally worth it for me because I need a smaller butt (LOL), and slender legs for cosplay or modelling.
LOLOLOL!!
So we moved forward....
....and backward using quadrupedal movement.
*Stretching our upper thighs*
lols.
Just like me, died while stretching. _ノ乙(、ン、)_
Stretching is the best time to die for a moment, LOL.
........
TROLLOLOLOL!!!!
Darren is a kind-hearted person, he will forgive me.(人´∀`*)
Ahahahahahaha
This is also quadrupedal movement, just that it's moving side ways.
At this moment we look like we are plucking weeds or...picking up litter (wow, much environmental friendly), lololol~
There's actually a lot of photos of us "picking up litter".
Probably that's our most synchronized moment.
Probably that's our most synchronized moment.
//& the photographer loves it so much that he took as many he could, lols. (-_-)
*Stretching*
.......
The best Buddha pose! (┌゚д゚)┌
Push ups!!
Oh look, there's someone using knuckles to do push ups!! щ(ºДºщ)
Camera man spotted!! ԅ(≖‿≖ԅ)
Tuck Jumps!!
lol....these photos reminded me of jump shot dragon ball.
If we are jumping backward...
Or if we have props in hand....
LOL.
Alright! Back to topic, so we are divided into two groups!
I actually like how this works.
Alex separated us into 2 groups;
1) People who have done it before and are comfortable with the techniques.
2) People who have yet to learn and or not comfortable with the techniques yet.
Well.
I have experienced once, being left out during a bboy class.
(no names here, but it's definitely not Natasha Studio)
It sucks to know that they won't pay much attention to you, and it's because you still can't do any power moves yet.

Yes.
That's one of the reason Natasha Studio is my favorite dance studio, because of they way they teach. Nobody gets left behind.
//& I'm starting to like Superfly Monkey Dragons too! (๑>◡<๑)
This is one of the 2 groups, people who have done it before and are comfortable with the techniques.
They were doing circuit with variations, safety vault, 180° underbar, safety turn vault, lazy vault or various different combination.
Combining all that they learnt together into movements.
This is the other group, people who have yet to learn and or not comfortable with the techniques yet.
Yes I'm one of them, hahaha
Thanks Jasmin for giving me that flower, so cute~
I still have no idea how did she stuck it into my hair, so tight it doesn't fell off.
Safety vaults!!
Learning how to balance before going into movement.
I'm still not comfortable in balancing and I have height fright. (╥﹏╥)
Oh the flower was still there at that moment!
Yea, I'm scare of height so I had to move to the lowest bar. 。・゚゚・(>д<)・゚゚・。
Meanwhile, both groups are hard at work!
This photographer.
So cute.
Like some paparazzi.
lolololol~
Oh the flower was still thereee~ (✿´‿`) lol!
I don't even know when did it dropped off from my hair. \'o'/
I don't even know when did it dropped off from my hair. \'o'/
lols.
What. Am. I. Doing.
(¬_¬)
lololol~
Demonstrating to Alex.
//Tell me how not to doge Alex's awesome pose.
Wow~
Like some martial arts!
Except for that guy right in the center. (• •)
Abs workouts!!
Self Reminder; It's for the sake of core muscles and a nice tummy!!
How nice will it be to have 6 packs ᕙ(⇀‸↼‶)ᕗ, LOL.
Rick! Looking strong~
This photo.
Nice Bald head.
Some shine.
What else does the photographer sees in this photo? (._.)
lols.
Stretch while counting the stars in the skies.
Keann's face, wow. |
Warm down.
Continue stretching~
Yeaa~ Group photos for the day~
Made a few more new friends in another hour of parkour class!
Awesome coach~
Cool friends~
Can't wait for the next lesson!!
This is the oldest traceur in the group.
He is like...already 50+ years old.
Still so strong, omgggg.
After class, some self practice and learning~
Darren trying to balance on the bar.
//& me trying to get rid off my fear of heights, argh.
